Tube end cones, also called tube cones, end caps or tube tips, protect and finish the ends of the tubes of RIBs, inflatable tenders and inflatable boats.

ORCA Retail offers a selection of CEREDI Nautica rubber cones, made in Italy, to replace a worn, cracked or unstuck cone, or to finish a tube during a repair or refurbishment.

Which end cone should I choose for my RIB?

Our CEREDI Nautica range has four references, available in black and several shades of grey depending on the model:

• Millennium 9016: Ø 165/125 mm, height 40 mm.
• Premium 9021: Ø 180/215 mm, height 40 mm.
• Classic 9017: Ø 230/200 mm, height 45 mm.
• Maxi Premium 9019: Ø 290/330 mm, height 45 mm.

How do I replace a tube cone?

To choose the right model, measure the diameters of your old cone or of the end of the tube, then compare them with the dimensions given on each product page.

Before gluing, check that the glue is compatible with the materials of the cone and the tube, especially Hypalon (CSM/CR) or PVC fabrics. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations on surface preparation, hardener and drying time.

Frequently asked questions

Which colours are available for each cone?

Black (RAL 9005) and light grey RAL 7035 on all four models. Medium grey RAL 7038 on the Millennium 9016, Premium 9021 and Maxi Premium 9019. Dark grey RAL 7046 on the Millennium 9016 and Classic 9017.

Which glue should I use to fit a cone on a Hypalon tube?

A two-part neoprene adhesive: ORCA Glue mixed with RFE hardener, or the glue + hardener kit. Follow the ORCA gluing guide (PDF, in French). For a PVC tube, contact us before ordering.

Is the cone made of EPDM?

Yes, all four CEREDI Nautica cones are moulded in EPDM rubber, resistant to UV and seawater.
