ABOUT THIS ITEM
The ORCA® TECH 288 reinforcement sheet protects and reinforces the tubes of RIBs and inflatable boats where they wear the most. Made of black marine-grade CSM (Hypalon®), it resists abrasion, friction, UV, salt water and fuel. Sold as a 100 × 150 cm sheet in 4 thicknesses, directly from Pennel & Flipo, the manufacturer of ORCA fabrics.
- What it is for: reinforcing tubes and protecting them from abrasion, as prevention or as a repair.

Where should a tube be reinforced?
- Diver entry points and boarding areas.
- The front and underside of the tube, which rub against pontoons and quays.
- Mooring areas and points of contact with lines, rocks or sand.
- Areas exposed to fish hooks and friction, especially in sport fishing.
Its black colour blends in discreetly on black or dark tubes.

Which thickness should I choose?
0.70 mm for light reinforcement or a diver entry point, 1.40 mm for areas that rub often, 2.50 mm or 3.00 mm for professional use or highly exposed areas.
Can the sheet be cut?
Yes, the sheet can be cut to the shape of the area to be protected before gluing.
Which glue should I use?
ORCA® Glue neoprene adhesive mixed with ORCA® Hardener, also sold together as a glue + hardener kit. PVC glue is not suitable.
