ABOUT THIS ITEM
The CEREDI 6600 pressure relief valve protects the tube of your RIB or tender against overpressure. When the pressure goes above the threshold, in the sun or after over-inflation, it opens by itself to release the excess air, then closes again. The tube no longer strains its seams and glued joints.
- What it is for: preventing overpressure and the damage it does to the tube.
- Setting: red version, opens at 330 mbar and closes at 284 mbar.
- Fitting: 35 mm hole in the tube fabric.
- Compatible with: all types of inflatable boats and RIBs.

Frequently asked questions
What does a pressure relief valve do on a RIB?
The air in the tube expands with heat. Without a relief valve, the pressure can exceed the manufacturer's rating and fatigue the glued joints. The valve releases the excess automatically, then closes again.
Are other settings available?
Yes, CEREDI makes this valve in several colours, each with its own opening pressure. We sell the red version online. For another setting, contact us.
How is it fitted?
It fits in a 35 mm hole cut in the tube fabric. If you do not have the tools, an ORCA partner repairer can fit it for you.
